Hi there! I'm Richard Opoku from Accra, Ghana. I currently work as a Software Engineer, at Rapid Wristbands where we deliver to you wristbands of your own design and choosing the fastest way. I have previously worked at ExpressPay GH, where we process payments. I studied Computer Engineering at the University of Ghana - Legon, class of 2016.
I have experience in different programming languages such as Python, PHP, C/C++, Java but a lot of the projects I've worked on recently in my profession, has been with Laravel and Lumen with React Ionic. On my github profile you will find some of the latest projects worked on are in Laravel, Golang, Flask and Django. These are the fun projects I work on in my spare time.
While I am a full-stack developer, my expertise is in building scalable backend services (APIs) and automating deployments with tools such as ansible, travis, jenkins, etc.
I am drawn to developing solutions that solve real customer problems with a business justification. I am continuously learning to improve my technical skills but I also strive to learn more and become a better leader for my team.

Most of my recent projects are in Laravel/Lumen
Used everywhere possibly especially for server side scripting
For web services but for mobile, prefer Kotlin and Flutter.
Works well when using NodeJS, VueJS, etc. Very simple.
Not professionally, just console apps with datastructures and algorithms.
In all web application developments that involve a UI.
Love it but can be very challenging to work with.
Don't interact with CLI often here due to Eloquent ORM except when using Flask.
